# Dunaversity — The Spine (v0.3 · 2026-07-20 · Moto's markup folded in)

**The north star:** one person creates a course in Studio, another learns it on Live, and the governance, culture, economics, and technology of **Kiduna** carry the weight between them. This is the real proof of concept. Ship July 25–27. *(Naming rule now in force: the environment is Kiduna / the Kiduna Field — "Kidunaverse" is retired except as the name of the game in development.)*

## 1. Structure

**Dunaversity is an Organization Realm** — the first duna launched on the platform. Everyone joins it; everything else opens later. **A Course is a Program Realm** inside Dunaversity (Program promoted to first-class Realm type — taxonomy v1.3.4 pending). Inside a Program: Projects, Communities (cohorts), Relationships, Agents, Artifacts, and the course's Wisdom. Launch surfaces: **Studio to create** (PC/Mac/Chromebook), **Live to learn** (iOS/Android) — one Field, Flutter/Flame throughout.

## 2. People and roles

Visitor → Guest → **Member** (joins Dunaversity: 100 USDC). **Everyone can always contribute — but Creator is a designated, tiered role.** Not everyone's work becomes Public: the Dunaversity **Wizard** can appoint a Creator whose material is public across all of Dunaversity; a Program **Catalyst** can appoint Creators across their course; a Community catalyst can make everyone a creator, or no one. Creator is a defined role at defined scopes (further refinement in the pathways). **Every Realm can have a Wizard** — a Catalyst may elevate a member to Wizard to administer a Program. A **Catalyst** forms a course and guides it (continuing authority per governance, not ownership) — and is the new kind of expert: someone who knows how to use these tools. A Catalyst may create a Program about something they don't yet know; it's a great way to learn. **Luminaries** are recognized for contributed bodies of work (Mastering Agency names them; they share in Moto's distribution).

**Validation is acceptance + provenance, and the model is identical in every Realm** (not course-specific): contributions are attributed Wisdom; the Catalyst/Wizard/Creators accept or remix material into the Realm's authoritative record; anything a member publishes as Public is always available to anyone, addable to any Realm; everything else stays attributed community material. Trust evidence rides along. No grades, no credential gates, no leaderboards, no scores.

**Badges are NFTs — network canon, not Dunaversity-only.** A Program can have multiple badges; badges can denote certification; a badge can confer acceptance into a Community, Alliance, or other Realm; badges can be issued by a game, an organization, or an Institution; issuable after KYC (or KYB for institutions) as verification — Service Alliance issuing badges to real vets; members can even verify each other with badges. On-chain as NFTs: durable and public. Completion is a badge — a record, not a rank.

## 3. The economics (the fundamentals, stated once)

**$KIDUNA is used for Compute. That's it.** Compute feeds the LLMs — in learning, in course development, in anything else. **USDC paid for Compute goes to the KINSHIP DUNA treasury** — at launch, Dunaversity is not a separate duna economically. No fragmented liquidity, no fragmented administration, no fragmented governance. Agreements between Kinship Duna and each subsidiary duna govern the relationship, modifiable by the subsidiary until it spins out independent; a duna *may* start independent, even with its own Compute currency — but the default path is **elevation → incubation → acceleration within the Realm → graduation from it** (relationships → communities → alliances → dunas, and beyond). *(Open design thread: this consolidation/graduation model needs its own canon and taxonomy treatment.)*

Distribution of every Compute purchase, in order:

- **Unchangeable:** lineage — 30% of the initial membership purchase (20/5/3/2) and 18% of all future Compute purchases, lifetime (12/3/2/1) · **3% to Kiduna Club** (the Delaware C Corp — owns the IP, licenses it to every duna) · the administration minimum: **20% of monthly revenue with a floor of $50K/month**, set by the duna's Catalyst without vote.
- **Everything else is the members'** — the treasury is member-governed through Forums, at the Kinship Duna level for now (members can propose policy for Dunaversity).
- **Default distribution (until voted otherwise): to Programs, pro-rata by Compute consumed in them** — Catalyst development Compute and learner Compute both count. The Program Catalyst is paid back development spend first; beyond that: FROST wallet, or Squad wallet with rules and votes (Mastering Agency: Moto keeps some, distributes to his Luminaries).
- Forums may change the default; after the token launches, Forums may vote to issue $KIDUNA for specific purposes.

**Launch reality: everything is real, and everything is USDC.** $KIDUNA doesn't exist until the launchpad raise ($100K minimum, $1M maximum). *(Needed: the onramp/offramp spec, and virtual bank account management with Sphere.)*

## 4. Governance

Forums belong to the Realm — at launch, governance runs at the Kinship Duna level. For any proposal, every member receives **1,000 valueless voting credits** (candidate name: Practice Credits) — tradable while the market is open, worthless at close. No profit motive in governance, ever. First expected proposals: changing the treasury default · admitting new Programs to featured status · **paying specific Luminaries and Catalysts to design and offer courses**. ($KIDUNA issuance becomes proposable only after the token launch.)

## 5. The Wisdom rules (the anti-industrial guarantee)

**All Wisdom lives on the Field — never contained by any Realm.** When a Creator adds Wisdom, they add it to the Field with a classification: **private to a Realm · secret to a Realm · personal · public**. Public Wisdom is available to anyone and can be added to any Realm. What gets brought *into* a Program is at the discretion of the Realm's Catalyst, Creators, and Wizards — curation, never containment. **Metadata discoverability for private material is fundamental to the entire Kiduna Field**: you can discover that something exists and decide to enter its Realm for the full Wisdom. *(Open design thread: the private-metadata discovery grammar.)* Ki reflects collective Wisdom only within permissions — never exposing private contributions, never inventing consensus, never erasing disagreement — **and this is true of ANY Wisdom on the Field**, not just courses. Cohorts are Communities with their own privacy. Everyone teaches from what they've lived; the Catalyst curates, never gatekeeps.

## 6. The agents (first roster — deep inventory comes from the user flows)

**Ki** (the Ally — every Presence's interface, both surfaces) · **Program Operator** (generic per-Program Actor — a Dunaversity course and an Institution's program are the same machinery: enrollment, sequencing, badges, records) · **Researcher** (multi-model, provenance-preserving) · **QA/QC** (accuracy, quality, provenance — generally useful, not course-only) · **Curator** (what the Catalyst really needs beyond setup: gathering, organizing, recommending material) · **Profiler** (invitations) · **Distributions** (not merely payments: treasury distributions are mostly deterministic policy execution — the open question is whether money needs an *agent* at all beyond Ki expressing the member's distribution intent; think through in the flows) · **Sentinels** (four watches: emotion, content quality, technology quality, safety) · **Envoys** (forum participation). All Actor authority delegated, bounded, recorded; execution deterministic. *(Step 4/5 must extract the full agent inventory from the four pathways: realm creation, recommendations, assessments-within-programs, training.)*

## 7. Genesis package (what must exist before anyone arrives)

**All of it sits on Kinship Duna** — Ki and the base platform. The Dunaversity Stance · the genesis Wisdom namespace (public metadata so courses can be found; the classification line) · the genesis system prompt · **four pathway courses seeded** (Mastering Agency · Cricket · Military History · Supporting Research) · badge definitions · the Kinship Duna treasury configured with the rules above · Sentinels on.

## 8. What we are and are not building for the 25th

**In:** Studio create + Live learn · USDC economics end-to-end · badges · forums with voting credits · **one Scene — Mastering Agency** (art and design complete; integration work) · the four seeded Programs. **Out:** per-Realm Compute issuance · decision-market governance beyond the credits model · Express and TV · other Scenes · cross-ecosystem federation · $KIDUNA itself.

## Open design threads (tracked, not blocking)

1. The Kinship-Duna-consolidation + elevation/incubation/graduation model (canon + taxonomy treatment).
2. Private-Wisdom metadata discoverability grammar.
3. Creator tiers — exact scopes and appointment mechanics.
4. The full agent inventory from the user flows; whether distributions need an agent.
5. Onramps/offramps + Sphere virtual bank accounts spec.
