Design Round 6 · Deliverable 3 · Kiduna One and Kiduna Live as products · renders spec v5.2 · July 10, 2026
The two modes, offered whole — the simplest invitations to the system
kiduna.one is Chat as just chat; kiduna.live is the Live environment alone. Same app, same ally, same graph — each surface simply opens in one mode and stays there, with the full app one stated switch away. Because they are the simplest possible invitations, they are designed that way: front door (3a, 3b), first minute, and the ever-present door to the whole (3c). Nothing on this canvas introduces anything canvas 01 and 02 didn't already design — that is the point.

kiduna.one — Chat as just chat
IN · AUG 10
The front door is one sentence and one door. Signed out, kiduna.one says what it is in a breath and takes a code or a sign-in; signed in, it is the conversation — no home screen, no mode switch in the chrome, no Live anywhere. For a member who just wants to talk to their ally, this is the whole product.

One conversation, with an ally that answers to you.
Kiduna One is the Kidunaverse as chat — nothing else on the screen. Your ally, your organizations, your record. Members sign in; everyone else arrives by a personal invitation code.

There is no other way in — every code belongs to one person. If you're curious and uninvited, kidunaverse.com explains everything.
front door, signed out — states what it is, offers the two honest entrances, sells nothing

Latent · Kiduna Club
Morning. Two things since last night, most consequential first: Moto answered your note on settlement receipts — he agrees, and cites the command log. And the Club set Thursday's gathering; you're wanted for the tooling conversation.
Reply to Moto: I'll draft the receipts piece this week.
Sent through Taro. Want me to hold Thursday afternoon for the draft?

first minute, signed in — awareness arrives, cited, compressed to the gap; no chrome except the conversation
The discipline of One is subtraction held: no mode switch in the chrome, because the product promise is "just chat" — the fuller world is reachable by saying so, like everything else.
Portals still work — as words. If the ally offers something spatial ("want to walk in?"), accepting opens the full app or kiduna.live in a stated handoff (3c) — One itself never renders ground.
Sovereign acts are undiminished: cards, press-and-hold, and the gold ceremony are Chat grammar, so they are One's grammar too. A member could live their whole membership here and forgo nothing but the seeing.

kiduna.live — the Live environment alone
IN · AUG 10
The mirror of One: signed out, one sentence and the same two entrances; signed in, you are standing on your ground (the arrival is designed at 02 · 2a). The ally band carries all of Chat's competence — Live-only never means ally-less — but the thread view itself lives one switch away, and here the switch is a stated door to the full app rather than chrome that flips in place.
The same Kidunaverse, as a place.
Kiduna Live is the world rendered: your organizations as places, allies as figures, work as visible activity. You steer; your ally speaks. Members sign in; invitations are personal codes.

front door, signed out — the ground faint behind the sentence: the product shows its nature without performing it
One and Live share one door grammar: a sentence about the mode, Sign in, a personal code, and a pointer to kidunaverse.com. If the two front doors ever diverge beyond the sentence, the products have started competing — they must never.
First minute: arrival at your own ground, ally band already narrating — designed once at 02 · 2a and reused here without change; kiduna.live is that surface as a standalone product.
Chat inside Live-only: the band expands to a slide-over thread for anything long (a card to sign, a debrief) and returns to the ground — the full threaded history is the one thing reserved for One and the app.

The ever-present switch — the whole, one stated door away
IN · AUG 10
Each mode product carries one quiet, standing line of chrome — never a banner, never a nag: "the whole Kidunaverse · kiduna.app." Tapping it hands off with the conversation intact: same account, same thread, same position, because there is only one graph. The handoff is the same crossing grammar as the mode switch — the surface changes, nothing else does.

the whole Kidunaverse — Chat and Live together
kiduna.app →
On tap: the current conversation and position travel; the app opens in the mode you came from, with the other mode now one flip away. Never shown mid-conversation, never modal, never counting anything.
the one piece of chrome the mode products add — an honest door, always in the same place
The mode products are invitations, so their success is measured by what they refuse: no feature teasers, no locked buttons, no "upgrade to see." What isn't here is simply elsewhere, and the door says where.
Why a door and not the in-place flip: inside the app, Chat ⇄ Live is a mode of one surface. One and Live are products defined by staying in their mode — so leaving them is a stated act, one tap, with the destination named. The distinction keeps each product's promise legible.
